The artist made a name for himself as a painter of high society personalities. If it is true that his fame was primarily born out of his portraits of feminine elegance, one cannot but recognize his many other excellent works: landscapes, still-lifes or symbolist representations. As for his drawings and pastels, they deserve attention and will certainly enable the public to relive Paris's past infatuation for Antonio De La Gandara.
Among approximatively a thousand works, a selection is offered here under.
